• Service Work Oppurtunities:

Membership Committee- maintain an updated list of all area listed groups and contact persons for those groups as well as assist with issues groups may be having and need LAI’s assistance with.

Public Informations Committee- Like all of A.A., the primary purpose of members involved with Public Information service is to carry the A.A. message to the alcoholic who still suffers. Working together, members of local Public Information committees convey A.A. information to the general public, including the media.

Publications Committee- Produce, publish and distribute a monthly newsletter.

Special Events Committee- Organize and hold a yearly anniversary event and regular workshops.

Institutions Committee-  coordinate the work of individual A.A. members and groups who are interested in carrying our message of recovery to alcoholics in treatment and outpatient settings, and to set up means of “bridging the gap” from the facility to an A.A. group in the individual’s community.

Correctional Facility Committee- Provide assistance to AA individuals and institutions who work with those who seek recovery from alcoholism.

BY-LAWS Committee- Meet every third year to review, and if necessary revise the BY-LAWS.

Audit Committee- Assist Trustees in the yearly audit of LAI.

Archives Committee- Assist office management with the maintenance of the LAI archives files.
